Aura Flow is a jazz quintet whose members hail from the city of Turku, Finland. The band's second album "Dynamo" is released via the Fredriksson Music label. Saxophonist Max Zenger, pianist Henri Mäntylä, guitarist Henri Marjamäki, bassist Teemu Åkerblom and drummer Jussi Fredriksson form a swinging line-up which celebrates the currently strong jazz scene in Turku. 

Releasing their debut album "You'll Hear from Me" in 2014, Aura Flow consists of musicians whose influences reach far and wide. Max Zenger was recently featured in drummer Teppo Mäkynen’s film concert at Helsinki's Sibafest and fellow bandmate Teemu Åkerblom has been leading a lauded quartet which recently released their debut album. Pianist Henri Mäntylä has recently performed in a series of highly popular gospel jazz concerts starring saxophonist Timo Lassy. Known as both a pianist and a drummer, Jussi Fredriksson has been busy with revitalising the Turku jazz scene with his Jazz City Turku and Flame Jazz concepts. He also leads his own groups Jussi Fredriksson Trio and Fredator. The original compositions heard on "Dynamo" are penned by Zenger and Mäntylä.

Aura Flow is a fresh breeze from Turku, performing energetic, melodic and swinging jazz. With their second album the band reaches further with their expression and aims increasingly also outside the borders of Finland.
